My name is Polina Sizova. I’m a visual artist and illustrator, currently living and working in Barcelona, Spain.

I do art  between fine art and illustration, with a strong focus on comics and graphic storytelling. Throughout my career, I’ve worked as a commercial illustrator with music labels and publishing houses, as an illustration educator for a wide range of audiences, and as an independent artist and writer.

02. Geese, a Magic Bean, and Death.
Short comic tale
2021

A story inspired by the Russian folk tale “The Crying Fox.”
It’s about a group of geese who find a magic pea,
head into the unknown — and discover that only death
is waiting for them there.
I decided to rewrite that ending in my own favor.
